TalentEgg.ca is a career portal and job board that caters to Canadian students and recent graduates. The site specializes in entry-level jobs, internships, and co-op programs and is based on Milkround.com, a UK-site that also caters to students and new graduates.[1]
The company was created in April 2008 by Lauren Friese and is based in Toronto. It is meant to replace traditional forms of campus recruitment.[2] The target demographics are Generation Y or “Millennials”.
The site has multiple features such as articles, blogs, membership options, an employer directory, and more. Since 2008, it has become a leading job board for students and recent graduates in Canada and the company and its founder have been featured numerous times in the Canadian press.
It claims to have traffic of 52,000 visitors per month from across Canada and to have had over 6,000 students and recent grads registered in their first 12 months.
