Chang Almas District (Persian: بخش چنگ الماس) is in Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Babarashani.[3]
Demographics[edit]
Population[edit]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 14,357 in 3,121 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 13,137 people in 3,620 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 10,737 inhabitants in 3,248 households,[2] by which time the village of Pir Taj had been elevated to the status of a city.[6]
