Professional wrestling career[edit]

WWE (2023-present)[edit]

Mitchell, under the ring name Kelani Jordan, made her debut as the protégé of Dana Brooke at NXT: Gold Rush. However, the storyline was dropped when Brooke was released on September 21, 2023. At NXT No Mercy, Jordan fought against Blair Davenport on the kick-off show in a losing effort.[2] On the November 28 episode of NXT, Jordan beat Kiana James to advance for the Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline but failed to win the match.[3][4] At NXT Stand & Deliver on April 6, 2024, Jordan teamed up with Fallon Henley and Chase University's Thea Hail to defeat Jacy Jayne, Kiana James, and Izzi Dame in a six-woman tag team match.[5] She became the inaugural NXT Women's North American Champion after she won a six-woman ladder match at NXT Battleground.[6]

Personal life[edit]

Mitchell was born in Georgia then moved to Boynton Beach, Florida at a young age. Her mother is of white ancestry while her father is of African American ancestry.

Mitchell is currently in a relationship with fellow professional wrestler Christian Brigham, who currently competes in WWE on SmackDown under the name Carmelo Hayes.[7][8]
